About directive-nis2.eu
We build one thing: the practical layer between the text of NIS2 and the twenty-seven national laws that actually bind you.
Why this site exists
There is no shortage of NIS2 summaries. There is a shortage of material that survives contact with a competent authority — documents with the article references in them, evidence lists an auditor recognises, and country-specific detail that a pan-European overview cannot contain.
NIS2 is a directive. That single fact generates most of the difficulty: the security baseline is common, but registration, supervision, scope extensions and reporting channels are national. A group operating in six member states has one security programme and six compliance relationships. That gap is what we work on.
How we work
- We cite. Every claim about an obligation points to an article. If we cannot cite it, we do not assert it.
- We date our data. Transposition status carries a review date, because a regulatory table without one is unusable.
- We say what we are not. We are a private publisher. We are not an accreditation body, not a certification scheme, and not affiliated with any authority.
Who operates it
Cryptaguard SRL, a company registered in Belgium at Fazantenlaan 9, 1600 Sint-Pieters-Leeuw, VAT BE 1007.610.660. We also operate regulation-dora.eu for the financial sector's parallel regime, and mise-en-conformite-nis2.be for the Belgian market in French.
What we are not
directive-nis2.eu is an independent private platform. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of the European Commission, ENISA, or any national competent authority.
Our certifications are private training attestations. They are not accredited under ISO/IEC 17024, are not a European cybersecurity certification scheme within the meaning of article 24 of NIS2, and do not certify the NIS2 compliance of your organisation.
Nothing on this site is legal advice. Scope determination and liability questions should be confirmed with counsel qualified in the member state concerned.

We answer scope and invoicing questions directly, usually within a working day.
