Terms of sale

1. Seller

Cryptaguard SRL, Fazantenlaan 9, 1600 Sint-Pieters-Leeuw, Belgium. VAT BE 1007.610.660. RPM Bruxelles. Contact: subscription@cryptaguard.com.

2. Scope

These terms govern every purchase made on https://directive-nis2.eu/. By completing an order you accept them. Where you are a consumer, nothing in these terms limits your mandatory statutory rights.

3. Products

We sell digital products: assessment workbooks, policy and procedure templates, board material, reporting templates and country-specific analyses, delivered as downloadable files. Each product page states what the product contains. We also sell services, which are quoted separately.

Our documents are professionally prepared reference material. They are not legal advice, they do not certify your compliance, and using them does not by itself make your organisation compliant with NIS2 or with any national transposition of it.

4. Prices and VAT

Prices are displayed excluding VAT and are aimed at professional buyers. Where we show a VAT-inclusive figure it is indicative, calculated at the standard rate of the country shown.

The VAT actually charged is determined at checkout from your billing country and status:

  • Consumers in the EU are charged the standard rate of their country of residence, under the One Stop Shop scheme.
  • Businesses in another member state that supply a valid EU VAT number are invoiced without VAT under the reverse-charge procedure, Reverse charge — Article 196 of Council Directive 2006/112/EC.
  • Belgian customers are charged Belgian VAT.
  • Customers outside the EU are generally invoiced without EU VAT; local import or use taxes are your responsibility.

Prices may change at any time. The price that applies is the one displayed when you complete your order.

5. Volume discounts and promotion codes

Volume discounts apply automatically to the subtotal excluding VAT: -15% from €150, -25% from €300, -40% from €500, -50% from €800.

Promotion codes are not cumulative with volume discounts unless expressly stated: where both would apply, you receive whichever is more favourable to you. Total discount is capped at 70%.

Where we show a comparison figure such as « value if bought separately », it is the arithmetic sum of the current individual prices of the included items. It is not a former price of the bundle, and we do not present it as a discount from a previous price.

6. Order and payment

Your order is complete when payment is confirmed. Payment is processed by Stripe Payments Europe Ltd; we never receive or store your card details. Accepted methods are shown on the payment page.

A VAT invoice is issued for every order and sent by email. Belgian business customers subject to mandatory structured electronic invoicing should contact us before ordering so we can issue a compliant invoice.

7. Delivery

Delivery is electronic and immediate. After payment you receive an email containing a personal access link, valid for 30 days and reusable. Files remain available from your downloads page, and you always receive the current version — updates are included at no extra charge for the life of the product.

If your access link does not arrive, request a new one from the downloads page or contact us. Non-receipt of an email is never a reason for you to lose access to something you paid for.

8. Licence

Unless the product states otherwise, you receive a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the documents within your own organisation, including adapting them for internal use. You may not resell, sublicense, publish or distribute them outside your organisation, nor use them to deliver paid services to third parties.

If you are a consultancy or managed service provider and need to use the material with clients, contact us for a white-label licence.

9. Right of withdrawal and guarantee

Because the products are downloaded immediately, we ask for your express consent to immediate performance and your acknowledgement that you lose the 14-day right of withdrawal. We nevertheless offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. Both are described in full on our right of withdrawal page, which forms part of these terms.

Where a refund is issued, the corresponding access rights are revoked, and any certificate issued in connection with the refunded order is revoked.

10. Availability

We aim to keep the site available continuously but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Planned maintenance is kept short and outside European business hours where possible.

11. Liability

We are liable for damage caused by our intent or gross negligence, and for any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded — including death or personal injury, and consumers' statutory rights. Otherwise our aggregate liability arising from an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

We are not liable for decisions you take on the basis of our documents, for the outcome of any supervisory action or audit, or for indirect or consequential loss including lost profit or reputational harm.

12. Force majeure

Neither party is liable for failure to perform caused by events beyond its reasonable control.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

Belgian law applies. The courts of Brussels have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory law of your country of residence, nor of your right to bring proceedings there.

14. Complaints

Write to subscription@cryptaguard.com. Consumers may also contact the Belgian Consumer Mediation Service, as set out on our right of withdrawal page.

15. Changes

We may amend these terms. The version applicable to your order is the one published when you placed it.
